Day on the beach : take 2

This is what my day at the beach consisted of today. Sitting. People Watching. Listening to waves. Listening to a crazy guy "fight thru the phone". playing with lizards. writing.

Love makes you crazy
I wish you knew how this feels

Reality show to me
Got me thinking twice about my life

I look around at all the people

Then I contemplate my life

Beach Day : Take 1

Beautiful beach day. Sunny skies. Nice Breeze.
Spent a couple of hours driving around Hallandale Beach, looking at the beautiful scenery, people watching and taking goofy pictures with @JSawyer86.

My Halloween :)

I'd say it went well. Even though I had to work a long shift, dealing with crazy drunk people, it turned out to be a great first Halloween in Miami. Amazinggg friends and coworkers. :)

Trust. Listen. Pray.

Life can get tough. It will knock you down when you least expect it and when you're feeling weak; when you feel like you just don't have the strength to get back up again. I've been there time and time again, but I've kept my faith. There is no battle that will come your way today that doesn’t first have to come by God. Whatever you are struggling with, know that you can make it and you can find a refuge in God. Whether it is grief, lack of money, problems in your relationships or even your health… trust in him. Just as you eat to nourish your body each day, don’t forget to feed your spirit as well. There are seasons that we enter where it seems that the road is rough and the going stays tough. Seems like there is no way out. We can do the best that we can on our own accord, for every situation, but we need direction and positioning from the Lord. We must come to an understanding that we don’t need to pray only to petition or ask him for things, but we must acknowledge him and start a gratitude list for the things that he has already done. Meditate on it, pray and listen. He will direct your path.
