Ideas
Just a Thought...
"There's gotta be more to life ...
Than chasing down every temporary high to satisfy me ...
I've got the time and I'm wasting it slowly ...
Onto the next thing, I'm searching for something that's missing ..."
Keep on searching. You'll find your purpose and what truly makes you happy. Never give up until you are completely satisfied, and even then... keep on going! :)
"I want the most of what life can give to me
Only the best, a life extraordinary ...
I'm not ordinary, i'm not like anyone else"

In Case You Were Wondering...
Take More RiSkS!
"To love is to risk not being loved in return. To hope is to risk pain. To try is to risk failure, but risks must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing."
Risk-taking, by definition, defies logic. Reason can't explain why people do unpredictable things — like betting on blackjack or jumping out of planes — for little or, sometimes, no reward at all. There's the thrill, of course... those brief moments of ecstasy. We take risks again and again like addicts. The explanation for why people like to live life on the edge — it involves the neurotransmitter dopamine, the brain's "feel-good" chemical. So make yourself feel good, do something you've been shying away from. And then ask yourself, "what's next?"

*Quote for the Day*
"The longer I love, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is that we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes." ~ Charles R. Swindoll

Magenta! =)
"Life is like a box of crayons. Most people are the 8-color boxes, but what you're really looking for are the 64-color boxes with the sharpeners on the back. I fancy myself to be a 64-color box, though I've got a few missing. It's okay though because I have more vibrant colors like periwinkle at my disposal. I have a bit of a problem though in that I can only meet the 8-color boxes. Anyone else have that problem? I mean there are so many different colors of life, of feeling, or articulation.. so when I meet one who's an 8-color type... I'm like, "Hey girl, magenta!" and she's like, "Oh, y0u mean purple!"... and she goes off on her purple thing, and I'm like, "No! I want magenta!" ~ John Mayer ♥

Don't Give Up!
Whenever you make a mistake or get knocked down by life, don't look back at it too long. Mistakes are life's way of teaching you. Your capacity for occasional blunders is inseparable from your capacity to reach your goals. No one wins them all, and your failures, when they happen, are just part of your growth. Shake off your blunders. How will you know your limits without an occasional failure? Never quit. Your turn will come.” ~ Og Mandino
A Smile Costs Nothing...
A smile costs nothing but gives much. It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None is so rich or mighty that he cannot get along without it and none is so poor that he cannot be made rich by it. Yet a smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away. Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give. ~Author Unknown

Determination*
My topic for this morning: Determination.
Having determination is something that is looked up to in life, it shows that you will succeed in anything you do. It's a positive personal character trait. Being a determined individual means knowing what you want. If there is something a person wants to do, he or she will not give up easily or get distracted by something else. But then there are other times where a person may have a goal to do something, but then the task seems more difficult than he or she thought it would be. In turn, they then weighs the desire to achieve the goal versus the work required and decide to quit. Some people jump from one thing to another, without even completing what they started, which seems as if they aren't very determined to achieve their goal. Some people give up too easily. If we fixate on a purpose; know what we want and why we want it, that purpose will help drive our determinism. If you are determined to achieve a worthwhile goal, you will reap the rewards; a feeling of satisfaction and achievement.
So everyone make a goal for yourself today! Don't give up! Stay in that positive mindset :)

"Life is the art of drawing without an eraser." - John W. Gardner
This is a fine quote if you ask me, and if you're creative, it's something you can definitely understand. I then thought of the times I'd be drawing on paper, and sometimes think there's an Undo button, but just like life... nothing is perfect. You must keep going and make it perfectly imperfect. ♥
You always hear that there are no new ideas, everything has been done and most have been "done to death". Since we cannot change what has come before us, the idea is to take the canvas of history and draw our lives over it; making mistakes, crossing things out and taking chances that don't pay off. But most importantly we must keep leaving our mark.

Crossroads are often opportunities to aim at the target we desire to make our reality, even if it’s just to do something different and we aren’t quite sure what yet. That happens. Such times may cause anxiety, but that’s usually because somewhere at the back of our mind or deep in our heart, we wonder, “Can or should I really go for it?” It’s best to ignore anyone who believes you can’t get there from here. There’s always a way whether it’s a metaphorical jet, boat, car, or your feet. If you have a dream, don’t just wish it, intend it. Commit, be flexible, and stay true to yourself. Do what makes YOU happy :)

Discovery... ♥
How do you discover who you are? We all have a purpose in life. And this purpose is the ultimate; the dream of all dreams, and the point where you can live a life with abundant happiness. But first, you have to find that purpose. Sometimes this can be the longest journey; finding out who you are. There are many distractions in life that may stray us from where we need to be. The reasons why you've forgotten who you are and what you want to do are that they have been extracted from you or squashed by following beliefs and values of those around you. You've been stopped from exploring you. We get caught up in conforming to the norm, directed by our peers and family.. adopting the beliefs of our society as a whole, then we choke on our self-expression. Understand you came to this earth with the purpose to discover your true identity and that the experiences you have had so far have been pre-sent to help you discover that. Remember times when you've been told you can't do something because of certain boundaries. Remember the things you did that made your heart sing. Remember that these things hold the key to your self-discovery and your true desire and purpose. Maybe you know immediately what your gift is, maybe you don't have a clue. But keep searching. Living your life purpose you'll want to get up earlier, stay up later and you'll lose all track of time. You will literally move into timeless awareness, so absorbed and excited by what you create. Your opportunities are limitless :)
